It seems that i'm not able to import files that contain decomposed characters in the file path.
It still works in CS3.
Here you can find a b'ziped txt_file.
You can file a bug at Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form, but the only version that might get fixed is cc, and I wouldn't hold your breath waiting. Are you doing anything as a workaround, like renaming the files?
Thanks - that;s the link that i was looking for
Yes - i wrote function to replace decomposed charaters to composed equivalets based on unicode chararates map. but only for those countries that i need to support.
So for example Ä in decomposed form takes 3 bytes 41 CC 88 - so i'm converting it to stanadard character C3 84.
Also i noticed that there's is a function in windows libraries called NormalizeString http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd319093(v=vs. 85).aspx.
Unfortunately i haven't enough time to test that function yet.
