Word files to InDesign retaining previous InDesign  type formatting

Jun 29, 2013 7:30 PM

In our print facility for a small school district we reset a 50 page Parent handbook  into InDesign 5.5 tThe origional document was sent to us created in Word  The new design was an instant hit.  We have been asked to repeat this project athis year but rather than sending us the changes, they sent the entire booklet to be updated.  How can we replace the existing InDesign pages with the new Word pages and still keep all the InDesign formatting and type charistics.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Use the same paragraph styles, character styles, object styles, table ctyles and cell styles as you have used before and apply them.
