Photo Icon

Jun 30, 2013 9:51 PM

I'm using Adobe Reader VI. My old PDF file have a photo icon image instead of the emblem. I made a correction on a file and saved it. It no longer has the photo icon. What do I need to do to change it back? Thanks.

Reader VI... You mean 6? or was that a typo and you're using XI (11)?

From ANY Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) window click Tools>Folder Options

Under the View Tab uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails". Click Apply. Click OK.

You may need to restart before the change takes effect.

That's the only place I know of to change it. There isn't a preference in Reader for it. You can try changing your "view" from the current setting to "list" or "details" and then to "large icons" or "extra large icons", and see if that changes it.
