Flash stops a published SWF file from connecting to  websites even after global security setting were setup in the Flash Player setting manager (list of trusted sites) to include both the web sites and the SWF file location on my hard disk. I am usingFlash Pro CS4 and have Flash player version 11. Any suggestions?

thanks

    How do you know it's stopping you? Please post any relevant code/errors or unexpected output.

    Hi Jkarov ,

    You need to add the crossdomain.xml:

    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <cross-domain-policy>
    <allow-access-from domain="*" />
    </cross-domain-policy>

    and then load the file -

    Security.loadPolicyFile(http://www.yoursite.com/crossdomain.xml);

    Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks and Regards,
