MC and fixed text font size

If I convert a Classic text of type Input text (single line) or a TLF text of type Editable (single line) to a movie clip and resize the MC on the stage, the size of the text changes. How can I keen the same font size even if the mc size changes?

Don't resize the movieclip, just let its size be dictated by the content it contains.  If you need it to be bigger, then make some object within it that defines its size bigger.

Add a rectangular object inside that movieclip and make its color alpha value 0 so that it is not visible.  If you want to resize the movieclip, resize that object inside it rather than the movieclip itself.  That way you are not going to affect the size of the textfield.
