Transform/Resizing issue in Illustrator CC

Jul 5, 2013 1:44 PM

I'm getting an very frustrating bug in AI CC. If I have a fairly complex object/group/path and I want to resize it (holding down shift to constrain), random anchors and points get distorted so I lose carefully constructed spaces and curves - even simple circles get horribly distorted. It's pretty bad. Phone support was not helpful and could only suggest workarounds that I was already using (making a symbol first) But that is really not helpful in the design process.

Anyone else experiencing this?

On an iMac Fusion Intel Core i7, OSX 10.8.4

    Simon,

We are not talking Align to Pixel Grid, are we?

You may try to untick it if ticked in the Transform panel. In the Options you can also untick for new objects.
