Re:  Default session length in multi-track recording

I'm having trouble increasing the default session size from 30 seconds while using the multi-track feature.  Whenever I click over duration, and enter a new time limit, it defaults back to 30 seconds.  Any suggestions?

That's what it's supposed to do. If you set a track to record directly into it, the session will grow to the recording length plus a bit, or if you place an existing file into it, the same thing will happen. The chances are though that if you grow a session like this, and remove all of the tracks so that it's a completely empty session again it will retain the length, and you can then save the session as a new default with that length. Personally I wouldn't bother - the system as designed seems to work fine.
