I removed AI CC as it wasn't working but can't re-download it since CC app says it's up to date??

I uninstalled AI CC because it wouldn't update (and appeared not to be working--maybe not fully installed originally?).  Now I would like to re-install it, but my desktop CC app says it is "up to date."  It couldn't be up to date, even if it were still on my computer, because the recent bug-fix update failed to install. 

I am running Windows 7, 64-bit, and I have a working AI CS6, which I intend to keep.  Thanks for any help.

    Have you tried using the Cleaner Tool?

    Gail, You might try to sign-out and re sign-in from the Creative Cloud app and again check for the installed apps from the "Apps" tab in the creative cloud app.
