I uninstalled AI CC because it wouldn't update (and appeared not to be working--maybe not fully installed originally?). Now I would like to re-install it, but my desktop CC app says it is "up to date." It couldn't be up to date, even if it were still on my computer, because the recent bug-fix update failed to install.
I am running Windows 7, 64-bit, and I have a working AI CS6, which I intend to keep. Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the suggestion.
The original problem went away yesterday without any input from me. But
the problems keep changing. I was able (at least it seemed so) to download
and extract AI CC, but the installation failed--no fatal errors but a few
other ones. This happened the first few times I tried to install PS CC as
well. Now that's installed and working, and the first bug fix installed,
but the second bug fix will seem to download but not install.
I'm going to try again--run the Cleaner on AI and sign out/in. Just don't
have the hour(s) to spend right now calling customer service (or
uninstalling and reinstalling the major CC programs), but I'll probably end
up having to do that unless Adobe works out some of these bugs. I also
suspect that corrupted files get installed every time a download fails, but
I wouldn't know how to sort that out.
