Wrap div around selection

Jul 8, 2013 2:02 PM

I used to like the ease of clicking the insert div icon and it wrapping it around the seletion. Is this no longer possible in CC? Now it seems to be a 3-step process: insert div, delete placeholder content, reposition opening tag. Boring.

Sorry you find it boring. Maybe it's time to look into a new line of work... (just kidding)

    Why are you using placeholders?

And are you using AP Divs?

I see. I've never used placeholders. Working in code view 99% of the time I just add a DIV and then copy my content into it.

I have never used this either.  But if you feel strongly about this feature removal, tell Adobe's engineers that you want it back and why you need it for your workflow.
