I used to like the ease of clicking the insert div icon and it wrapping it around the seletion. Is this no longer possible in CC? Now it seems to be a 3-step process: insert div, delete placeholder content, reposition opening tag. Boring.
Not ap divs. Just using the insert div function to place an opening and closing div tag with options to set class an ID, which used to also have the option to wrap around the selection (before CC).
And the placeholder is the placeholder content which DW automatically fills the div with. It didn't do that obviously when it wrapped around your existing content, but now it does because it just places it inline at the end of your content.
Now we have the option make it "fluid" but no longer the option to wrap around, which used to make things easy. Now it must be as I described before, or type opening and closing tags manually. Speed and ease and not having to type everything used to be the point of Dreamweaver, and automatically wrapping divs was just another little helper to avoid accidental bad nesting as well. So it's just boring that that useful function has been seen fit to be removed.
I have never used this either. But if you feel strongly about this feature removal, tell Adobe's engineers that you want it back and why you need it for your workflow.
