An interesting question – never used the built-in Track changes, having become used to rolling my own earlier. Track changes is obviously using Conditional text, but the FM8_TRACK_CHANGES_{name} conditions don't show up in the normal Conditions tab. Experimentally, I tried updating them with .mif but didn't see what I'd hoped for: the colour changes, but while the .mif file set a change bar opening the file in .fm still persisted with underline.

So-o-o … I suspect there may be settings somewhere else; and I'm certain someone else will come up with the complete answer. Thanks for raising the question!
