So same project...same time selection same computer, same hard drives, same everything.
Audition CS6 takes just under 13 minutes.
Audition CC takes just under 90 minutes?
What exactly is it doing? That means the whole feature we are working on would take almost 13 hours(I tested this gave it an hour and it was pretty close)
Settings are the same same drives same files etc...Whats up? I am suposed to be testing DCP's tomorrow morning(yes I know its close in time but hence the term "test" not mission critical but still important)
Right now my only plan is to render everything in CS6 and just work in CC.
Any word on whats up with this? Audition CC in general is proving to be trouble some at this point. I even switched to an SSD to see if that would do anything...made CS6 run faster but did nothing for CC.
It's possible that CC is updating the file through your Internet connection. That's the whole idea of the CC. You install software locally but it interacts through Adobe servers. Personally I won't use any Creative Cloud software until there's no other alternative. I have CS6 and I plan to use it till I can't anymore. From what I've read, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and the services for Reader have all had "bugs" and until they're worked out, CC is going to be a pain for everyone using it. Now I can add Audition to the list of apps I plan to keep "local".
I don't think that is likely but I don't understand it.
I am using this for a feature length film. I don't know how many people have done that with Audition.
It would be great if I could be contacted by a support person who handles feature film realtions. I also plan to use all and only Adobe software for our next feature.
Totally see that, but have not had any real answers or conformation on this issue. I really want to dig into it and help get it fixed also if I can. I can always do more testing and such. I'm surpised no else has seen this problem.
