Suddenly no .XMP are made when processing RAW photos

Jul 14, 2013 6:54 AM

Since yesterday, suddenly no .XMP files are being made (or at least I can't see them anymore(!??) when processing RAW (.CR2) photos.
How is this possible?
Is this a real porblem?
How can I solve it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click the three-lined square in the toolbox at the top of the raw converter to go to the raw preferences and make sure that Save Image Settings> In .xmp sidecar is checked.

Well, nothing would go wrong, but since those files are your settings for your raw conversion you'll always be starting again at 0 every time instead of being able to start from where you left off.
