There is no dynamic link between PR CC and EN CS6.
Also, see the Encore CC/CS6 FAQ:
"The biggest change in workflow is the removal of Dynamic Link between Encore CS6 and Adobe Premiere Pro CC."
This is not quite right. I need information on import into Encore CS6 timeline of Primere CC, as was done for version CS6.Or send the timeline in Encore.
And you offer to work through Adobe Media Enсoder?
That's not what I need ...
expected if a patch or a new version of Encore?
No, it is not right. But it is this way. There may be licensing or financial reasons that Adobe picked this path, but it was certainly not because their users were finished creating DVDs and Blurays. And it is also clear that many users liked dynamic link. (Many did not find that it worked well enough.)
OK I liked Encore, as the ex BDM for Adobe in EMEA, I used to demo it and make it look sexy.
That aside, do I have to download the CS6 Production Premium installer again?
Will I be prompted for my serial number assuming I can find it?
I must say Adobe should make a statement on the future of Encore as it was a very powerful tool for prototyping interactive content and giving users a familiar and simple interface to work with.
I'm sure there are going to be quite a few wedding videgraphers who will be sad to see it's abscence.
Any help greatly appreciated as i am a new CC user who has to demo features for a storage product and this is a royal pain in the but for me.
The FAQ above was as close to an Adobe statement as you're likely to see. Add John's links, and any other forum activity has been discussion, but not Adobe statements that add anything.
Yes, if you did not keep the installer, you must download it. And don't forget to update it. I prefer to keep PR CS6 installed, since it will allow you to dynamic link to EN. Then again, I have not subscribed to CC, so my preference is a projection into a world I have not yet joined.
You actually install CS6 under your CC subscription. You can install under your previous license, but no need to. If you ever stop the subscription, your CS6 license is your fall back. Make sure you keep it and a copy of the install files handy....
Adobe DID make a statement about Encore - CS6 is the final Encore http://www.adobe.com/products/encore/faq.html
>That aside, do I have to...
What you need to do to use Encore CS6 are in the three links I posted in #2 - did you click those links?
