Photoshop Elements 2.0 -- registration/verification

hi folks -- I bought Photoshop Elements 2.0 -- obviously years ago -- and never really used it much.  Now my daughter wants to use -- I have the serial number, but in order to update Adobe wants the email that it was registered to -- but that email is long gone.  It seems ridiculous that we cannot use the program -- anybody have ideas/solutions?  Thanks

This is my daughter's email so she'll be able to use the program

Do you mean you're getting the error message about "missing or invalid personalization information"? If so, that can mean a couple of things. 1. Your operating system is not compatible with PSE 2. If you have a Mac running 10.4 or higher, forget it. Windows 7 and 8 are pretty if fish, too. 2. The other problem is that your hard drive is too big. PSE2 can't understand the large drives on modern computers. 750 GB is as large as you can go, although the drive size problem is more likely to produce a false warning that the scratch disks are full.
