I've recently installed InDesign CC on a new computer. (Win 8)
But as soon as I open it, I get the Adobe InDesign CC has stopped working and have to immediately close it.
InCopy does the same thing. I've downloaded all the updates that are available.
Photoshop and Premiere Pro and other CC programs seem to be working just fine.
I would sincerely appreciate any advice.
I installed the plugin update - didn't work
I removed fonts and tested it - didn't work
I rebooted in safe mode - didn't work
I signed out of and back in Creative Cloud after each test.
I uninstalled and re-installed InDesign - didn't work
I'm not sure what to do next.
I'm afraid I don't have more to offer. Most of us here are just ordinary users and we don't have magic bullets or access to code, only some experience with things that have been shown to work in the past.
Sadly, you are not the only user reporting problems installing CC. Best I can suggest now is to call tech support and insist on being escalated when the level one contractors in India can't solve the problem. DO NOT let them tell you they will call you back.
