A user is having an issue when adding fields to a scanned pdf, and filling it out, adobe acrobat pro 11.0.3 freezes and crashes.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  They seem to think it's related to office 2013 being installed.  I'm not sure about that yet, but they say it only started happening after office 2013 was installed.  Is there some kind of internal log file that would help point to the cause of the problem?  The event log errors just say that it crashed without reference to any file besides acrobat.exe.

This is on a windows 7 PC.

Thanks!!

Crashing usually generates a Windows Error Log (WER) which will show the faulting module in the stack. Normally you get some dialog from the OS that says it wants to send information to Microsoft.  This is also a WER log.  There is a link within that dialog that allows you to view the log file and see the error and faulting module. too.  While that information might not mean anything to you or the lay person it might mean something to the Adobe engineers if you open a support case.

Otherwise Adobe does provide a scanning troubleshooting document:  http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-scanner-issues-acrobat. html

That might not be of any help though since the crash is occuring while adding fields.
