you're playing an flv (or f4v) using an flvplayback component in a swf?

i assume the answer to my question is yes, and the swf is is loaded by its embedding html.

if so, the only significant delay would be because of a problem with your swf.  to test, create a new swf (and html) that only contains your flvplayback component with standard skin (or none) and assign its source to be your flv/f4v.  test.  any problem?

    hi (but i'm not murphy).

    and there's a problem.

in my message 1 i asked a question and you agreed.  you didn't understand the question so you should not have agreed.  that's important because the only way you can be helped via a forum is by exchanging info and if you give incorrect info, you will find the info you receive unhelpful.

so, let's start over.  you're probably not loading a flash video.

you probably created a fla and then publish a swf and html.  you uploaded your swf and html to a server and when you open your html in your web browser there's a delay before your swf appears.  is that all correct?  (if you don't understand everything in this paragraph, don't agree and explain.)

    you uploaded the fla?

that doesn't make sense.  the fla is your source file and cannot be displayed in a user's browser.

post a link to whatever you uploaded that loads too slow.

i've never seen any place where it says to upload the fla.  (but be careful, flv looks similar to fla but they are completely different files.)

in your example, you would need to upload fadu_etc.swf, SkinOverAll.swf and Victims_etc.mp4 which i know you've done because your video (the mp4) plays inside your swf (fadu_etc.swf).  nothing else needs to be uploaded.

anyway, i see the problem.  your mp4 does not start to play until it downloads completely.  that behavior is not the way flash typically works.

so, do you have any actionscript in your fla?

someone will probably need to check your source files.

that's your swf-embedding html file.  it's fla that publishes faddu-vopviu.swf that needs to be checked.

you can post a message, then edit it and attach your fla.

i'm just not sure who will download and correct it for you.  i don't download and correct files unless i'm hired but someone else may.
