I can't find them on my Mac anywhere and they are needed for the testing server.
Supposedly Dreamweaver puts these automatically where they need to go but it doesn't so i would say there is a big BUG .
So, where can I download these scripts from so that I can place them in the root of my site please?
Thanks, I already saw that and tried it.
For whatever reason, the location to where he said to find the two files didn't exist on my Mac.
I even did a search in my finder and they weren't there...anywhere.
So, awhile ago I got on a PC, used CS6 and created the files myself, drug them over to my Mac and now I can see my testing server.
This is a ridiculous BUG in Dreamweaver, along wihth the fact that Adobe doesn't include the Database options, Server Behaviors and Binding options in the program any more is just insane. They call them Deprecated now and you have to install them as extensions, and then to not have them even be able to connect to the database without copying files manually...makes me wonder who is in charge of that development team now.
Who would think it was a good idea to remove database functions from a Program that needs databases to the extent that it should?
Adobe, are you trying to abandon Dreamweaver???
eddievinson i think adobe wants us to stop using their products if they continue with the Deprecated madness, im so frustrated right now that i realized i had to install it with an extension and half the features there where before are gone
Well sto start before we could insert images and it had options to select if its a file or from the database thats gone at least on the windows version, creating recordset paging had some nice features even if the wizard part was done with tables that was easy to adapt taking out tables and adding divs, no more wizards for the dynamic part, i can go on a lot but those where things lot of users used every day.

I will re-visit it. I was able to Download CS6 from Creative cloud. I found where Adobe at least recognized there were some problems with the new Dreamweaver so they are allowing us to grab and use CS6 Dreamweaver.
As soon as I opened my site in CS6, all issues resolved.
We recently the server Behaviors and Database extension to Adobe exchange ,Can you try installing the Server Behaviors extension directly from teh Adobe exchange .
Go to Windows>Extensions >Exchange
Search for the Server Behaviors and Database extension
Let us know if it works
yes, i did that. thats how I was able to get to the stage I was at. Dreamweaver DID NOT place those two files I needed, and they were no where to be found in my installation directory. I had to go to mt PC using cs6, setup the site in that machine, and then I copied the two generated files I needed from my PC to the Mac and then I could use the database without getting an error that said I didnt have a testing server setup.
