Batch live trace in Bridge CC re-traces when files are opened in Illustrator CC

Hello,

I am using Bridge CC to live trace a batch of images. After I ran the process (Tools -> Illustrator -> Image Trace with a custom Tracing Preset and saving as .ai) on a batch of images, I opened them in Illustrator CC and they were all automatically re-traced before I could see them. It seems like Illustrator is re-running the live trace that I applied in Bridge. Saving the files under a new name does not make a difference.

In contrast, when I live trace a file directly through Illustrator, save as .ai, and re-open it, the file just opens up and does not get automatically re-traced each time.

Is there anything I can do to stop Illustrator from re-tracing the images I traced in Bridge? I have quite a few files to trace and would like to use Bridge to batch process them, if possible.

Thank you!

maybe you try this question also in the dedicated Adobe Illustrator Forum, not many inhere (including me) have much experience with Illustrator nor live trace I'm afraid.
