PE window.JPG

Getting this error message regarding procedure entry point....You can click through it and it will eventually open but it's annoying as heck to have to do this every time I want to use PE11. Any advise will be appreciated...

What version of windows are you using?

Do you have any third party plugins installed in pse 11?

Did you move/copy any plugins into pse 11 from another version of photoshop elements?

Did you point the Additional Plugins preference in pse 11 to a folder that has plugins you wanted to use?

Could you post the contents of Help>System Info from within the photoshop elements 11 editor?

That might help us see if there is a odd dll or plugin that might be causing that error.

Another way is to unistall pse 11, then go and delete the folder Photoshop Elements 11

in the program files and then reinstall pse 11.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11 (64 bit windows 7)

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11 (32 bit windows 7)

If you have any plugins you want to install, check with the maker for compatibility with pse 11

and use the plugin installer to install the plugins.

A couple of things i see:

    1. You should uncheck the additional pluhins folder under

         Edit>Preferences>Plug-Ins>Additional Plug-Ins Folder

    2. you seem to have a bunch of plugins in the pse 11 plugins folder

        C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins

those aren't really needed since they are mostly repeats of the ones that pse 11 already has, so you should

    remove those as well.

Hopefully those two things will take care of the error messages your getting in pse 11.

Filter forge 3 should be compatible with pse 11.

Did you try using the filter forge installer?
