Premiere Pro CC does not appear to be active after installation

Aug 31, 2013 11:52 AM

I downloaded Premiere Pro CC on my Mac,Creative Cloud showing an green check mark with Up to date message, now trying to use this software the first time. Everything under the top  menu  bar including Help is greyed out and so are all my MOV files.

What can I do to turn this software on?

Where are they greyed out?  In the project panel?  In the media browser? In a sequence? In an import dialog?  That's why I asked for a screenshot.

That screen shot indicates that you have not set up a "Project" and it is asking for a location where you want one saved to.

Dude, shooter is right.  That is NOT the import dialog, that is the New Project dialog and all you do with it is tell PP where to save the project.
