How do you automatically load a table on an html page with data from a file?

You need to provide more information about what it is you want to do.

For example, you can load data into an HTML table within Dreamweaver by using File > Import > Tabular Data. See the Help page.

On Windows, you can also import directly from a Microsoft Excel file. Copy and paste from Excel works on a Mac, too.

However, if you want to load the data dynamically into a web page, you either need to use a server-side language like PHP, or use the DMXZone Data Bindings extension.

A great replacement of the old server behaviors technology to create new dynamic web apps built the Ajax way!

The Database Connector features a great Database Connection Wizard, fully visual Query Builder to make your work a breeze.

It is available for PHP as well ASP
