Thanks both for the help. Fonts101 was shut down by my security - the download was confirmed infected.
Went to Sys32 but find no Fonts Folder. Still trying. Need to find a safe download source for fonts - I guess.
any help appreciated TNX Bill
Thanks much. I'm learning here. My fonts folder was found in the windows folder not Sys32. So got a clean download from Scrap Village. A great site and no security issies and can pick the font you want. Except now I find I only get OliveOil(medium) from them. PSE7 and Picasa3 still grumpy. I'm trying to match a large amount of work done with the OliveOil(bold) for a presentation book - unfortunately. Appreciate any reliable source for the (bold). Been searching - most sites want to load vast amounts of fonts and lots of junk stuff. Hard to control and clean after. I use TrendMicro, HitmanPro, ADWcleaner and MalwareBytes all together. These font sites are full of bad stuff. HitmanPro and ADW really does clean what is dumped.
Sorry for being so much trouble
Bingo!! Thanks for the help. Got to the finish line - but not sure what road I took. Using Faux Bold gets the bold but calls it regular. I have to adjust the size to match previous PSE work (ie; was 36 and now 150 pt to match size). All is OK and can move ahead. Thanks so much. As I go ahead - sure I will understand more what same PSE7 is doing now (Dell 6mo old) vs before (Dell 2 yr old). Same computers Win7 with no additional font down loads.
best wishes Bill
PS; Yes - still have the older Dell in another state with the OliveOil bold. In a month will be back to see the resident Bold again. Just seem to have got stuck using a font that no one else at Dell wanted.
