"AdobeFnt13.lst" file missing in the document fonts folder

Sep 13, 2013 6:26 AM

Hello,

I have a bug with Indesign CS5, the "AdobeFnt13.lst" file is now missing in my document fonts folders, even after reinstall of ID.

I deleted the Preferences folder, font cache etc. nothing works so far.

An idea someone ?

I don't believe CS5 added the .lst file. I don't see any sign of one in any of the CS5 packages I've checked.

I just made a new package here for testing in CS5, and it did include the .lst file, but I deleted both the .lst file and the font fom the system fonts folder, and the file opens correctly in both CS5 and CS6, each of which adds back a new .lst file to replace the missing one.

Then you have some other problem, I think.  Try trashing the prefs to see if that helps. See Replace Your Preferences

    Try a new user account.

And which OS are you using?

OK, that rules out a user problem, so now we can look for some sort of system conflict. Reboot holding down the Shift key to disable extensions, launch ID from the regular account, and try, with no other programs running.

Are you fully patched on ID? I'm about out of things to try...
