Form elements not responding or accepting input

Sep 16, 2013 11:05 PM

Here's the page, it's a simple signup form for an email list. I have not yet applied any type of server behavior yet.

The text fields just won't accept focus, not cursor, nothing - it's as if they're disabled. The page was created in CS4 and I've only make a minor chance since getting CC. I created a new blank page with a similar form and it works, so what could be interfering with this form? I've made pages before with lots of other javascript type stuff and what not, but never had a problwm with a form no matter what else was on the page.

I also tried deleting the entire form and creating a new one in CC - in that version the submit button worked, but the text fields still didn't. I also tried the various settings in the properties for the fields with still no luck.

What am I missing/.  Thanks!

    The slideshow is covering the form.

    Change the highlighted value (line 187 of the main document) to 260 and all is well

    <script type="text/javascript">

                $(document).ready(function() {

                        height : 462,

                        width  : 890,

                        delay  : 7000,

                        showCaption : true,

                        transitions : "randomBlocks",

                        showSelectors : true,

                        pauseOnHover  : false,

                        showNavigation : false
