Here's the page, it's a simple signup form for an email list. I have not yet applied any type of server behavior yet.
I also tried deleting the entire form and creating a new one in CC - in that version the submit button worked, but the text fields still didn't. I also tried the various settings in the properties for the fields with still no luck.
What am I missing/. Thanks!
The slideshow is covering the form.
Change the highlighted value (line 187 of the main document) to 260 and all is well
height : 462,
width : 890,
delay : 7000,
showCaption : true,
transitions : "randomBlocks",
showSelectors : true,
pauseOnHover : false,
showNavigation : false
Ben - thank you.
I would never have figured this out on my own. There's something about the core concepts of CSS that I just don't get, the way it creates layers if that's what it actually does. One of these days though I'm expecting it to click in and the light to go on, the I'll get it.
I don't know why I had the height set to 462 in the first place - I either copied it from another site where that was the image size, or I just wanted some extra space. I ended up setting it to the height of the current images, 311, and it works fine.
I really want to express my apppreciation to you and others who have recently helped me since I finalaly started to learn CSS a couple of years ago, and more recently, going to CC from CS4. I'm going through a particularly stressful time in my life and your assistance is so helpful to me all around.
