Have you done the Acrobat updates (currently 11.0.04)?

I've been having the same issue for about two month's now.  The pdf file does get created, but Word crashes and has to reload.  Currently running Acrobat 11.0.05.  Word Version 14.0.7106 32-Bit.

Mine magically started working last week. Still running Acrobat 11.05 and Word 14.0.7106.  Something must have done an update and fixed the problem.
