Hello guys, I'm pretty ready to change my old GPU with a brand new one GeForce 780
The question is:
Will AE receive benefits from the CUDA Cores?
I don't use 3D, I work in the classic 2D and I want to speed up the Pre-Rendering and other stuff like RAM Preview, live modification, You know when You modify a filter, exspecially an heavy one etc, well I don'0t want to wait during this filter application or at least have a smoother experience
The CUDA Cores help these things or not?
See this page for details:
So for a final rendering in After Effects that will go on YouTube a GeForce 780 it's just a 600 euros less in my pocket?
AE can just improve Ray Tracing iof I understand good (I'm Italian sorry)
But in Premiere Pro CUDA can help the final rendering right?
First: CUDA acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer does improve final render speed for the ray-traced 3D renderer.
Second: Rewriting the entire rendering pipeline of the application to use CUDA would be a _vast_ amount of work. If you want us to do that work, you can submit a feature request: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish
The problem is that I don't make videos in 3D, I record Gameplay and Tutorial (pretty heavy) and with CPU and RAM videos took me like 4-6 hours
i5 2400 and 16 gb ram
This is why I had in my plan to buy a 780 but doesn't help unless I use Premiere Pro
But Premiere Pro can import every effects that I add to the AE project?
