I have just recently started using InDesign for a class I am taking. I am so confused, and I just can't get it to click and make sense in my mind how to do it? Are there any suggestions or sites that would break it down for me ?
Have you asked your teacher what he/she recommends? Have you done any searches on Google or YouTube?
I'd start there, but if you are willing to pay for a book, InDesign CS6: Visual QuickStart Guide by Sandee Cohen comes highly recommended. And if you want more detailed video, Lynda.com offers training videos. Some videos are free to watch, but some require a subscription price that you can find out about at the site (if you choose to visit).
By the way, is the whole thing just a blur, or do you have any specific questions I can help you with?
Lynda.com has a good resource for beginners and a free 1 month trial.
The Visual Quickstart Guide is a must for beginners, I fell.
Other than that - ask more questions in class.
The person who asks the question when the answer is simple is on a fool for a minute, a person who never asks a question remains a fool forever.
