Does anyone know the message in Photoshop that the end of file (EOF) is reached and photoshop can not open this?
It sounds as though you have a truncated file (i.e., not all the data is there).
If it is a file you previously saved, check your system log for disk errors. Also check your file system integrity (e.g., CHKDSK on a Windows system). It could be a serious problem and should be dealt with immediately before you lose more data.
If it is a file you received via a communications link (e.g., internet download or eMail attachment) you may want to try getting another copy.
Also, make sure the file type is set to match the actual file format - in other words, if it is supposed to be a JPEG file, make sure the filename ends with .jpg.
Leider bedeutet diese Meldung in 99,00% aller Fälle, daß die Datei hoffnugloss beschädigt und nicht mehr zu retten ist.
That's a good one Station. "99,00% aller Fälle" Best punchline I have heard in ages.
