Some harry potter sound effects?

Oct 17, 2013 2:26 PM

Hello,

I'm Jeroen, and i'm new to Adobe After Effects.

I'm studying a dutch school called MultiMedia Design.

I want to make a harry potter wand duel, i know how i can make it, but the only thing that i miss are the sound effects. Is there any way to make them myself, or just download them?

Hope you all can help me!

Regards,

Jeroen Hulshof.

This is not an After Effects question. After Effects is not for creating or incorporating sounds. I'll move this to the Audition forum.

I can't be specific without knowing exactly what you want but I'd suggest you may wish to proceed with a combination of both.

You need a basic sound to start with--other than basic test tones and noises, Audition is not a sound generating tool.  You can either record these basic sounds yourself or download some basic bangs and whooshes.

However, once you have those, Audition is an excellent tool for manipulating the original sounds.  Work your way through all the effects menu--things like the pitch shifter, modulation effects, some reverb, etc. etc. can take an ordinary sound and make it into something special.
