Error message "download failed" when trying to use Create tab in Expert mode)

I am using PS Elements 11 and following a tutorial which has instructed me to click on the Create tab and select Photo Book as an option (it actually doesn't matter which option - they all produce the same error message).

I get the initial dialogue, to set the number of pages etc but when I click on OK a window pops up to say "downloading asset, please wait". This is then followed by an error message "download failed. Either the server is unavailable or you are not connected to the internet" or words to that effect.


So far I have checked the software for updates, checked my internet connection and looked in this forum for answers, but so far nothing has worked.


Anybody else experienced this?

    Rename the 11.0 folder located at: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0 and then start the creation workflow again. See if it resolves the issue.
