Reply is helpfull but did not resolve problem. I suspect CS2 Bridge is still running somewfere in the BG. I checked in Task Manager but did not find any running. Nor was CS6 Bridge running. I did finf that CS2 Illustrator was still installed and went through the process of removing it manual. But I am at a loss as to whether that process completed completely.
Is there a place I can find all instances of Adobe Bridge? Thanks for your help.
Only one instance of bridge can run at any one time. The Task Manager is the only place I know to see it if is running. Look for any instance of bridge.exe open.
Did you uninstall CS2 or just delete. If you just deleted it may cause problems. In fact uninstalling previous version can cause problems.
If you get desperate one option is to uninstall CS6, then run Adobe Script cleaner (maybe twice rebooting computer each time). This will get rid of any pieces of program left after uninstall.
I searched for bridge.exe on Computer. Found backup copy of CS2 and another in a Folder named profile.
I am assuming this happened when changing OS from MSWindows 7 to 8 and now in 8.1. CS2 was running in 8 before I installed CS6. I suspect that there remain vestiges of CS2 somewhere.
Can you point me to Adobe Script cleaner? Maybe I can wipe all the Adobe products. Thanks for your help.
