I am unable to launch the iOS simulator from flash CC or find any info online about this problem. I have tried reinstalling flash and xcode. The error I get is:
iOS publishing requires files which are not installed. Please quit Flash Professional and run the original installer to ensure that all optional components are installed.
SDK is missing GPL component /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator. platform/Developer/SDKs/../../../../../usr/llvm-gcc-4.2/lib/gcc/
This would happen if you are using iOS SImulator7.0 with AIR3.8 SDK. To test with iOS Simulator7.0, please use AIR3.9 SDK(using Manager AIR SDK).
Please let me know if the problem persists!
Thanks and Regards,
After going over the documentation carefully again I found the error was my
fault as I missed the scroll bar with the path to the iOS simulator and was
only entering "
I've fixed this now and the simulator will launch from flash cc however the
app is not installed. If i extract the payload and manually dump the .app
file in the applications folder I can use it in the simulator but not when
using any of the iPad devices.
I am having the exact same trouble as Andy... First off, how do you install AIR3.9SDK in Flash? Second, what is the exact path to the Simulator on mac? and finally how do you manage AIR SDK.
