Poor Flash Performance

Hi folks,

After I reinstalled win7, I've been experiencing poor flash performance on my laptop in both Firefox and Chrome. IE is fine so far because I didn't installed flash for it. By poor performance I meant is that Youtube, Vimeo and IMDB videos (above 360p quality) are lag frantically until the video is fully loaded/buffered. Websites with bloated with embedded flash videos (such as this one) freeze the browser for few seconds, and made it stagger to scroll on the webpage till I close the tab. In Firefox, flash_player_plugin.exe swiftly increase its use of RAM and CPU; and in Chrome, the browser itself suddenly become resource hungry.

All programs and drivers are up-to-date. Hardware acceleration is off (even I tried while it's on, but no visible change). Deleted caches\temp folders several times, increased storage limits, but all to no avail.

Operating System:      Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit SP1

CPU:                           Intel Celeron M @ 2.13GHz    54 °C

                                   Conroe-L 65nm Technology

RAM:                           2.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz (4-4-4-12)

Motherboard:              Intel Corp. Base Board Product Name (CPU)    56 °C

Graphics:                    Generic PnP Monitor (1280x800@60Hz)

Intel Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family (Toshiba)

Any help will be most appreciated.
