I am getting the error "Unable to find the file com.htm in the configuration/floaters directory, after the error DW shuts down. I done the preference fixes but that doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I upgraded to Maverick over the weekend and DW was working prior to the upgrade. Is this a Maverick issue?
The program will not open for me to try this fix. Following the error I get the Problem report screen for Dreamweaver, and the message Dreamweaver quit unexpectedly. Trying to reopen yields the same result.
Can you please try the below steps and let us know if the issue is still reproducible.
1. Quit Dreamweaver if it is launched
2. Navigate to /Users/<Your Account Name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe by pressing Cmd+Shift+G in a Finder window and then entering the path.
3. Rename folder "Dreamweaver CS5" to "Dreamweaver CS5 Backup"
3. Launch Dreamweaver
If you are unable to navigate to the above path as the OSX might have hiddent the files, you can refer to the steps listed in below article to unhide the files: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/3104/os-x-show-hidden-files-and-folders -in-mac-os-x-finder/
