Depends on where the image will be used. Eg. <header>, <footer>, <aside>, <article>, etc... If you're asking if you need another div within the main structure to hold the image, no. But you could insert it inside a <figure> tag if that's how it will be used.

I'm inserting the image in a .container DIV. Even when I style with percentages, the image shows up at full size (too large) and does not respond to changes in screen size. Please help - I am under the gun to teach myself Dreamweaver and I am finding it quite frustrating.
By default, FG Layouts re-scale images to viewport width up to the native image size.
However, this won't work if your HTML code contains explicit img height & width values. You would need to remove them.
