Hi, i have a work flow where i create media (img / audio / video) heavy docus and work planning as html via Dreamweaver. I tend to label stuff with colored labels, so in complex docs its much easier to fly over and associate stuff.
Now i'm looking if i can make a macro in DW that combines my label_css with the label-text, so when I hit a shortcut, the appropriate label is created for me at my current cursor position.
Is that possible in DW ? I didn't see a macro recorder. Is there another good way achieving this functionality ?
I saw find and replace tips but that's not what i'm looking for. I saw http://helpx.adobe.com/incopy/using/using-text-macros.html where it would be a solution but the text-macro function seems to be depreciated in CS6 DW.
You can't set a keyboard shortcut to a Snippet.
If it's something you use often enough, name the Snippet with an underscore in front so it shows at the top of your Snippets list, then it's just a quick double-click away.
EDIT: There's also Insert > Recent Snippet which will give you a list of the last ~10 or so Snippets used.
