MacBook Dual Core or Quad Core for Illustrator?

I am wanting some help deciding on which laptop to go for.

I use Adobe Illustrator and am about to buy either a specced-up 13", or specced up 15".

Obviously the differences basically boil down to Dual-Core Vs Quad-Core, plus a dedicated graphics card.

Anyone got any advice?

what will you be doing with illustrator? the machines we have at work here are four-year-old core2duo things, and they do noticeably slow up when i'm doing stuff that's effect-heavy or with lots of blends. but if i'm just making line drawings or type or whatever they're more than adequate. i think either of the macbooks would do fine for most things. i just recently got myself a 15" in fact, but haven't had reason to do any heavy work on it yet.

i don't think so. i reckon you can go to town on paths on any modern machine as long as the appearence is basic.

also, a 13" screen might be a little too small for drawing.
