Hello,

Is there a way to relink images that were originally on the desktop and moved to an image folder in the documents folder to their HTML files in Dreamweaver? Currently, the only way I know how to do it is manually. The only problem is that there are a lot of images to relink. I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks!

So you're not using a defined site?

Moving files should be done from with DW's Files window and the program will automatically update everything in the site for you. If you aren't using a properly set up site definition, you're missing out on most of the functionality of DW that makes it better than a text editor.

You could probably do a site-wide find/replace though (again, if you have a site definiton set up correctly).

Go to Site > New Site and tell DW where your site folder is located on your hard drive.  See screenshot.

While you're at it, enter the FTP log-in credentials for your remote server.  If unsure what to use, check with your hosting provider for details.DWCS6-moreOptions.jpg
