If you have an older CPU... apparently Pentium II CPUs
without SSE instructions are the cause of the problem. As stated on
another website "The patch for this (Flash vulnerability) is
implemented in .124 but Adobe has compiled in SSE instructions into
the build since .115, which crashes processors (Pentium 2 and on
on). "
On this website the system requirements of Adobe for Flash
Player 9 clearly state "Pentium II 450 MHz" as minimum specs.
I uninstalled both my macromedia and adobe flash players, but
they keep showing up in my add/remove programs. I searched for all
the files in the file search, and deleted all of them and restarted
my laptop. I have installed adobe a couple of times and still shows
the same error, what's the best way to uninstall/remove the
application?
