"This file cannot be found" error message when saving document

Strangely, every time I click "save" in CS6 it opens up a 'Save As' window, (which shouldn't happen), then I click save witht the existing file name (it then tells me the doc already exists), I click OK, (and then OK to the next popup window) then get the message that "This file cannot be found".  I'm forced to click "ok" and the doument isn't saved.  I've tried saving it differently in previous versions and it still doesn't work.  I recorded a video of this behavior. You can see it here -

Why would it be trying to find a file?  It seems like an error message when trying to Open a doc, not Save a doc.

Please HELP!!  I can't shutdown my station until I get the document to save.

Can you Save As using another file name?

And what happens when you then edit the file again and Save? Do you always get the same message?

Can you please answer these two questions:

    1) Are you observing this issue with every file or a specific file?

    2) On Which OS you are observing this?

    Thanks and Regards,

    Mohit Gupta.

Try to copy from the problem file and Paste-in-Front (or Back) into a brand new document of the same size, and then save the new file with a different name.

Well, I'm sorry to hear nothing helped save your work.  I am reminded of my late father, who worked with computers since the Comodore 32, had a KC-1 (KayPro's version of IBM's PC-1) and on up through Windows 98; one of his favorite sayings goes: "No one mentions the word 'computer' without a 4-letter word in front of it!".  It seems that still hasn't changed.
