Premiere Pro CC won't launch

Good afternoon! I am a Creative Suite subscriber and today, tried to download, install and run PPro CC, instead of CS6, which I had been using. Five times now, I've received an error message (no code number, just that Windows is trying to troubleshoot the error--it never does!) and the app shuts down. I checked the help area and found that downloading an update would correct the problem; it didn't. Am I supposed to uninstall CS6 in order for CC to run? I sure as heck don't want do uninstall ANYTHING until I'm sure the CC version will work properly. Thanks in advance for everyone's feedback!

    CS6 is not required.  (Though you will need to install CS6 to get Encore, as there is no CC version for that.)

     

    Type Crash on Launch into the forum search.  You'll get plenty of hits and some ideas.

    Do not uninstall CS6
