A bit of help please.

Dec 21, 2013 5:45 PM

Hey I am new to Fireworks and I don't even have it yet, just been using it at a friends and at school since I am trying to make a site for the school.

So far we are trying to just make a very simple site to learn a bit and we cannot understand how to make it so that the site adapts to different resolutions. We have aligned the site to center but when we preview it in browsers we have to scroll left and right. How do we stop this from happening. From what I understand the main parts of the site that are located in the middle in a colomn of 1000 pixels wide, should stay where they are, centered in every browser and resolution, but the white sides to change sizes accordingly. Can this be done?

If you are doing all this in Fireworks then you are using the wrong tol. You do graphics in FW and "Respnsive Design" layout in Dreamweaver.
