Error Compiling Movie: Unknown Error

I updated my Adobe production premium suite in November 2013. Ever since then I cannot render or export ANY of my projects in Premiere PRo CS6.

ALL of my clips (quicktime h.264) playback fine in CS6, but the moment I add an effect, like color correction, it does not render.

Furthermore, when I make adjustments to the effects, like color corrector, it doesn't reflect any of the changes on the waveform display.

Whenever I render I get this message:

"Error compiling movie: unknown error."

I've tried this with multiple clips/projects but to no avail I get this message Help plzzzz.

First lauch Premiere while holding down shift + alt then clear out media cache database.

See if that will get it to work.

Do you have GPU acceleration enabled? If so, please try switching Renderer to Software-only (File>Project Settings>General). This is just a test to isolate the problem.

Also does encoding fail both when you select Export in the Export Settings dialog (which encodes "in-process") and when you select Queue (which sends the job to AME).

You will have to narrow it down.

Export a small portion and turn on Preview in AME.

Watch this and see on which frame/clip or whatever it fails.
