I'm trying to export a video sized at 3840 x 800. My source video is 4000 x 2250 GoPro time lapse photos transcoded to MP4 or avi.
How do i go about doing this?
Using: CS6 and GoPro Studio for transcoding
Well, normally we would tell you to create the sequence from your footage, but in this case that might not be correct.
However, if you pay close attention, you can create a sequence at 3840X800 without too much problem.
Ctrl-n brings up the New Sequence window. Select the settings tab, and change it to something like this (using the apppropriate frame rate, of course)
Thanks for the help... I got that working. Now when I go into Media Export Settings, there are a lot of codecs to choose from some wont allow for anything larger than 1080. I picked cineform MOV and when i go to export it. The file appears to be in the process of exportinig (to the desktop), but when done the file is not there (nor anywhere else)... I'm afraid this is starting into another question... is there a codec that would work best in your opinion?
After some further research, I found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNtvpkgAWPshttp:// and it shows a way to export it... but only in a certain parameter. SO i guess i'll still with 24p, but i "pity da fool" that needs 30fps.
