Help with coding jquery

I am looking for resources / help with coding jquery UI widgets.

For instance when I place a jquery button on a page ..how do I code it to link to a page? or whatever...

Where is coding help for all of these widgets?

    There is a lot of good documentation and tutorials on the jQuery website. It's also helpful to have some understanding of javascript and how it integrates with HTML.

    Flash? Bad choice I think. Most of us never touch Flash.

    Flash is no good for navigation since the world's most popular mobile & tablet devices can't see it.

     

    CSS styled lists are much better for navigation because every browser and mobile device can use it.   If you want to add some transition fx with jQuery, it's not hard.  See example below:
