    Code errors might explain this.

    CSS - http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

    HTML - http://validator.w3.org/

    There is a remote possibility of an FTP error, but the likelyhood is that there is an error in your html syntax. The browser renders as much as it can, and then stops where it cant go any further. The point that its stopping at though will give you a likely clue as to where the error(s) are.

    If you cant find them, upload the code and someone here might be able to have a glance at it for you.

    You page does not validate. For a start, you have TWO <title> tags in your <head>. You also have unclosed elements.

    Do what Nancy told you to do, and validate and correct your html and css code first.

    And the other two pages contain all sorts of errors as well. Fix those first in your code.

    I cant see any unlosed elements (except for the fact that the souce code stops mid <p>)

    There are definitely 2 <title> elements - although this is not causing your problem.

    Can you post up the full source code? I expect there will be errors in your code that can be fixed.

    What exactly is your question and why are you posting all that code into this forum?

    We've already told you that your site contains code errors.  Once those errors are fixed, your page content should re-appear.

    Change

    .Bio {

         color: #FFF;

    }

    to

    .Bio {

         color: #000;

    }

    remove the inline styles align="center" and include all formatting in the css.

    Remove reserved characters btween <p> tags - in particular quotation marks, You can replace them with

    &quot;

    I'm sorry you have totally lost me

    The url link you posted http://www.usd223.org/pages/HanoverFBLA/3OH3/homepagefinal.html is missing a lot of code compared to that which you posted in the forum. As has been suggested this is an ftp error where the page code has not fully uploaded. Upload the page to the server again, which will overwrite the page which is currently on the server

    No need to post code if you provide a valid URL.  As you can see from the W3C validation report below, you have 7 code errors.  Fix those and you should be good to go.

    http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.usd223.or g%2Fpages%2FHanoverFBLA%2F3OH3%2Fhomepagefinal.html

    Use the validation tool to check the code and fix reported errors on your other pages, too.

    i'm not at my school so i can't upload it to the server.

    We'll how do you propose to fix it - you can't until you have access to the server. What's currently on the server is only a proportion of the code so its not in a million year going to view the way you think it should.

    Have you tried a different ftp client to upload the page? Google free ftp clients.

    If you view the page code in your browser you will see that the code is truncated - it ends right here:

    'Best known from their first  single “Don’t Trust Me” from their first actual album Want, which was able to  reach number seven on the Billboard Hot 10'

    Nothing below that.

    Well it's some kind of ftp upload error or server error. This is nothing to do with whether your code validates or not.

    The code you supplied uploads perfectly to one of my servers, as I would expect, its just a file. Now your file may be corrupt so maybe copy all of the code and paste it into another file and try uploading that.

    we did that and i even tried making the homepage over from scratch

    The way to test is:

    1) Try uploading through an alternative ftp client. If you're using the ftp facility in DW its generally a pile of rubbish which should be avoided

    2) Upload the page to an alternative server

    ok i'll tell my advisor that for state. i already turn in the website for districts, but i'm 1 out of 3 people in my event so i already am going to state. Thanks for your help.

    Good luck.........it's down to a technical issue beyond your control.

    I did not check for validation - people have a point about validation but don't get hooked up on it. Just learn to write good enough code - it doesnt have to validate. Code can validate and still not render correctly.

    This issue is not about validation its a technical issue outside of your scope.

    it also could be because my school got a new server.

    Stranger things have happened. I see you have uploaded 2 other pages - presumably they are looking as you want them to look?

    Why the ftp client your using or the server is hanging at a certain point in the upload process for the page in question is a mystery. As I say the code you supplied uploads to my server without any issues and the page looks like you want it to look, your first screen shot.

    Yes, presumably these 2 pages are part of your website and have uploaded correctly?

    what type of server did you use?

    nginx.

    If you are NOT using any server language in your pages ie - php, asp, cold-fusion etc I don't think it has anything to do with the server. All servers should display html files.
