I am using AS2 to load an external swf file with the loadmovie function. The external swf is loaded when a button is clicked. When the external swf file is done playing I want it to go back to frame 1 where the button is so the user can just click the button to see the external swf play again. My loadmovie code is below. What AS2 code do I need to add to do this?
You are better off editing the loaded file so that when it reaches the end it resets itself.
If you cannot edit the loaded file you need some way of externally determining when the file is done playing, which you can really only do if it is timeline-based by checking the _totalframes property against the _currentframe property to see when they are equal.
I tried the timeline-based video but now there is a sychronization issue with the audio when I embed the movie into the timeline. The audio for the embeded movie cuts off way before the movie ends. Is there a way to fix that?
