Serial Number Issue

I have Elements 12 (and several previous Element additions) for two laptop machines, which I ordered and received via a disk, etc. One Serial Number applied to  both machines. And they work fine.

Then I downloaded an a digital copy of Elements 12 for form my PC near my printer.

Now every time I attempt to work a photo on that machine, it tells me that I'm using the wrong SN and asks me to put in the correct one. I checked my Adobe Account and found three serial numbers, and I have tried them all, and they are rejected.

Sometimes I persist and get to a prompt that asks if I want quit. If I I click "yes."  I am able to continue processing that image.

As much as I like Elements 12, that is both irritating and time wasting.

What can I do?

    You have to wait for Barbara to come here;  She is the moderator here and she knows almost everything in PSE.  I am relatively new to PSE.
