You have a plethora of options available...
If you have your serial number handy...
1. You can uninstall DWCS5
2. Run the cleaner tool from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation -problems.html
3. Reinstall DWCS5 from here: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
Make sure to follow the very important instructions
Get your disks out of storage and do the same
Download DWCS6 or CC and use them for the 30 day trial, giving you some time to get the disks out of storage without losing productivity.
Thaks...I retrieved my disks and it only took three days from Seattle to Florida. My brother sent them...from storage.
Good news...bad news.
Good news: after several tries, I was able to install CS4 (at first my mac would spin and spit them out) but finally succes.
a. Mac just spins and spits out the content disk...but not other unrelated disks.
b. I have the CS5 upgrade disk, it reads but
Now for the other half of my battle...
Upon introducing the CS5 upgrade disk...it loads but will not automatically start uploading and when I: Finder > GO> "computer"> disk icon > cs5 folder icon > install.app icon...it then initializes installer but halfway into the download it quits with the following message appears:
"Installer failed to initialize... Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."...been there, done that and it finds no issues, detects no problems, hence no solutions.

Read the entire page and understand it because "Note: Very Important Instructions" is missed by many and say the links don't work.
I see you have an upgrade edition of CS5 so I am not sure whether the serial number will work with this download.
